Spring Baseball 2025 - Spring 2025

Justin Spring Recreational Baseball.  Skill assessments are required to play.

Our goal is to play Justin vs Justin games for all divisions, (Dependent on participation).

 

Coed T Ball will play 1 game a week, on Saturday mornings.

6u & 8u play 1 or 2 games a week, week nights and Saturdays

10u to 14u play 2 games a week. Week nights, Saturdays and possible double headers.

 

We will have Championships for the spring season.

 

Post-season play is available during Spring season. All Star Selection is made by the division coaches through a voting process.  All star teams will practice multiple times a week starting in mid May.  Teams will play two or more tournaments.  Being selected to play on an All Star team is an honor, but it takes commitment and added financial responsibility.

  • How will teams be selected?: At JYSA we strive to provide equal opportunity for fair play. To do this we require players (6u to 14u) to attend a player assessment. 6u players will be assigned a team based on this assessment. 8u to 14u players will be placed on teams through a "Snake Draft," conducted by the coaches. Players that fail to attend the assessment will be placed on teams using a "Blind Pick."
  • Interested in coaching?: Please email vpbaseball@jysa.info to make sure that you can meet the requirements prior to registering as the coach. Assistant coaching/practice coaching and team parents will be selected by head coaches. Please email vpbaseball@jysa.info if you are interested in filling one of these roles.
  • How does concessions duty work?: We are a volunteer run league. We cannot open concessions without everyone's help. Each team is responsible for covering concessions the hour after their game is played. Your head coach will assign the date for each family to work the stands.
