Get ready for a fun and competitive season of fall baseball with age divisions for all skill levels! Whether you're returning to the field or trying baseball for the first time, this is the perfect opportunity to build skills, make friends, and enjoy the game. 

Fall Season will focus on:

  • Skill Development – Teach and improve fundamental baseball skills such as hitting, throwing, catching, fielding, and base running.
  • Teamwork & Sportsmanship – Encourage cooperation, respect, and fair play among players, coaches, and teams.
  • Fun & Enjoyment – Foster a positive and enjoyable environment where players look forward to participating.
  • Confidence Building – Help players build self-esteem and confidence through achievement, encouragement, and personal growth.
  • Inclusive Participation – Ensure all players, regardless of skill level, get a chance to play and contribute.

Players in 6U through 14U must attend an assessment day (date to be provided later). Players not in attendance for the assessment will be placed on teams at random. 4U players are placed on teams with ages/gender split evenly amongst the teams.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • How will teams be selected?: At JYSA we strive to provide equal opportunity for fair play. To do this we require all players from 6U through 14U to attend a player assessment. 6U players will be assigned teams based on this assessment. 8U to 14U players will be placed on teams through a selection process conducted by the coaches. 4U players will be assigned teams with ages spread equally among them.
  • When will practice and games take place?: During the first half of the season there will be two practices a week (on weekdays) and one game on Saturdays. During the second half of the season there will be one week day practice, a weekday game and a Saturday game.
  • What is Concessions Duty?: We are a volunteer ran league. Without the assistance of all our members we could not have a successful season. For this reason we ask for the families of our players to volunteer two hours of concession stand duty during the season. This duty is coordinated by the head coach or team parent.
